The Downs Ladies Valentines Fun Walk/Run
We had a fantastic turnout at our annual 5k/10k run on Sunday morning. LGFA Medal Presentation
The Downs Ladies club held a night of celebration last Saturday night Feb 10th in the clubhouse. Medals were presented to our Senior Division 4 League Winners as well as our U16 Division 4 League Winners for 2023. Refreshments were provided expertly as usual by David Smyth Catering. A wonderful night of celebration was had by all. Thanks to all the volunteers who made the night so memorable.
Ireland Lights Up/Couch to 5K
Ireland Lights up continues every Thursday at 7.30 p.m. in conjunction with our Healthy Clubs Initiative. We would also like to congratulate all of our recent Couch to 5k participants in Sundays race. This initiative is was led by local experienced runner Críona Reid for the last few Mondays. We thank Críona for her time and expertise.
The Downs Dragons
The Downs Dragons will have their final indoor session next Saturday Feb 17th in the clubhouse for more fun and games. This has been a hugely successful initiative for the club. Well done to all involved. New members always welcome.
Club Calendar 2024
Our Club Calendar for 2024 is now available. We extend our gratitude to all our sponsors for their continued generosity and support in this venture. Calendars can be picked up in Mullingar Pewter, A&J Newsagents Coralstown and Egan’s Rathconnell Service Station while stocks last. Calendars are €3 each or 2 for €5.

Sympathy
The Downs GAA Club extends their sincere sympathy to senior player Ben Harte and extended family on the death of his grandmother Ann Gillet, late of The Oaks, Belgard Heights, Tallaght, Co. Dublin. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.

Bingo continues every Friday night at 8.30 p.m. All new members welcome.
Clubhouse Bar
The Clubhouse bar is open on Fridays and Saturdays nights.
