St. Patrick’s Day Festivities

We were delighted to see so many of our underage members representing The Downs in the Mullingar Parade on St. Patrick’s Day. It was wonderful to see the black and amber being proudly worn with flags aloft representing the club so well. Thanks to all mentors and parents for accompanying the children on the day also.

We would also like to thank and congratulate Eddie Quinlan on organising the mass clean-up of the Mullingar Half Marathon route by members of club. We thank all those that helped in any way both children and parents for contributing their time on St. Patrick’s Day. It was much appreciated. Many hands make light work and this was certainly the case on Sunday. Well done to all.
