Underage Results

With some games falling foul to the wet weather a couple of games did go ahead. Firstly the U14 Division 4 team had a comprehensive win over Millmore Gaels on Tuesday evening away from home. Well done to all.

The U16’s unfortunatley suffereed a loss against St. Lomans in Lakepoint Park on Monday evening with a final score of St. Lomans 3-11 to The Downs 0-5. Better days ahead for these young men.

The Minors had a great win over Killucan on a score-line of The Downs 5-11 Killucan 3-10 in a thrilling game of football. Despite being short a number of players due to injury and county commitments the lads turned in a resilient performance to come out with a win away from home. Well done to all involved. Special mention to 4 of the U16s who gave a helping hand on the night.
