Annual Christmas Draw Launched
It’s that time of year again where we launch our annual fundraiser. We have developed fantastic facilities here at Na Dúnta and we need your help to maintain our club and continue to grow. We have fantastic prizes on offer this year wish special early bird draws for those who get their tickets purchased early. Check out the details below and get your ticket in the bag. Huge thanks to all of our generous sponsors in particular QTP and Mills CNC for sponsoring our top prizes.
Scor na nÓg
Congratulations to Na Dúnta competitors who took part in the Scór na NÓg County Semi Final this evening in Kilbeggan. The Downs have qualified for the County Final in Aithriseoireacht, Nuachleas, Ceoil Uirlise, agus Rince Seit. Special mention also to Annie McNamee who at 8 years old was the youngest solo performer on the stage this evening and she sang beautifully. We look forward to seeing Annie on stage again in the years to come. Thanks to Ballinagore Gaa for being great hosts on the night, and to Fear an Tí Shane King who did a great job. The Scór na NÓg County Final takes place next Sunday 10th in The Downs.
Minor Ladies
Hard luck to our Minor Ladies who lost to a strong Goldsmiths side in this weekend’s Quarter Final. That concludes our underage season for 2024. A number of these girls will also feature on our Senior B side who await their Semi Final fixture v Coralstown Kinnegad. Best of luck to Ciara Dolan, who will be moving up to Senior football next season. Thanks to the players & management team for the time and effort put in this year.
