ACFL League Results
The Division 6 team had a good win over Tyrellspass last Monday on a score-line of The Downs 3-18 Tyrellspass 3-12. It was great to see so many of our younger senior players togging out on the night.
Underage Results
The U14 Division 1 team put in a strong performance in the last round of the league away to Mullingar Shamrocks last Wednesday evening. They now look forward to a league final in the coming weeks.
LGFA Results
The senior Division 3 team had a tough outing on Friday evening against Milltownpass at home. Milltownpass ran out winners on a tough night for the Na Dúnta girls.
The Division 1 team took on Mullingar Shamrocks in this one with The Downs coming out on top of this encounter on a score-line of The Downs 3-18 Mullingar Shamrocks 1-09.
The U14 girls had a tough assignment away to Moate during the week. Moate were the stronger side on the night running out convincing winners.
The U8 and U10’s girls had a great morning last Saturday in a sunny Breedon Molloy Park for their second Go Games blitz of the season. We welcomed teams from Coralstown, Kinnegad, St. Paul’s Delvin, Castletown Finea, Coole Whitehall, St. Mary’s Rochfortbridge and Ballycomoyle. A great display of football on display

Congratulations
Congratulations are in order for three of our U14 players of a different nature. Caoimhe McHugh, Laurie Finnegan and Aoibhín O’Sullivan are SFAI Soccer Trophy champions for Mullingar Swans and are also managed by our own U16 coach Martin McHugh. Congratulations to all involved.
We also congratulate three of our U14 boys’ players James Nea, Ben Loughlin and Antonio Bertoli who made history for their soccer club Inny FC by winning the U14 SFAI Cup – a huge achievement for all involved.

Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others
