League Results

Round 4 saw The Downs Division 1 side take on Garrycastle in a home tie on St. Patrick’s morning. With both teams struggling with the wet and wintery conditions it was honours even with 6 points a-piece at the half time break. Both teams scored a goal in the second half with The Downs goal coming from the boot of Ian Martin late in the game to effectively settle the tie. The final score was The Downs 1-13 Garrycastle 1-09. Well done to all.

The Division 4 side took on Ballinagore in Round 3 of the League on Sunday away. Unfortunately, the result did not go our way despite the young side’s best efforts. The final score was 3-12 to 3-07.
