Celebratory Dinner Dance 2025

We will be celebrating our senior team’s success in winning The Flanagan Cup and the U20’s success in the Division 2 Championship 2025 on Saturday January 10th  with a medal presentation and dinner dance. The event will take place in The Greville Arms Hotel with dinner kicking off at 7 p.m. sharp. Music will be provided by Camillus Egerton and Heads Up with DJ afterwards. All club members are welcome and we would be delighted to see as many of you there as possible. 

 

Tickets can be purchased and collected at the clubhouse on Monday 5th January from 7-8, Wednesday 7th 8-9 and Friday 9th 7-8.

Our Couch to 5k training programme is back!! A 6 week training plan with the aim of completing our annual 5k run on February 15th. Run, jog, walk or whatever your goal is why not try for free starting on Monday January 5th with coach Críona Reid. Start time is 7.30 p.m at The Downs GAA Club. All abilities and levels catered for.

The Downs Dragons are back in action. We are delighted to announce that The Downs Dragons will be completing a nursery programme in the hall for all children aged 3-6. This will be an introduction to football in a fun, family friendly environment. We will be kicking off on January 16th in the clubhouse from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. All new members welcome.
